週末はフル稼働、それでも充実した時間に A busy but rewarding weekend on and off the court

金曜日から日曜日の夜まで、本当に忙しい週末でした。

大船体育館と鎌倉武道館でのセッションに加え、別途ご案内したとおり、伊藤洋華堂大船店内のヴィクトリアスポーツでも素晴らしい体験会を開催することができました。さらに別の場所では、他の仲間たちと一緒にプレーする機会にも恵まれ、コート内外ともに非常に充実した時間となりました。

コート外でも慌ただしく、1月号に向けて World Pickleball Magazine の最後の2本の記事執筆にも取り組んでいました。また、あまり大きくは告知していませんが、このたび Selkirk のインターナショナル・アドボケイトとなり、金曜日には新しいパドルをいくつか試す機会にも恵まれました。

かなり疲れましたが、それ以上にとても実りの多い、充実した週末でした。明日はHitomiコーチとのセッションを楽しみにしています。今年も残すところあと3回のセッションのみとなり、25日はクリスマスです。武道館でのセッションでは、参加される方へのちょっとしたサプライズも用意しています。

It was a very busy weekend, from Friday through Sunday evening.

We played sessions at the Ofuna gym and at the Budokan, and in between, as mentioned separately, we had a great session at the Victoria Sports store inside Ito Yokado Ofuna. We also had the chance to get together and play with other friends at a different location, making it a very full and enjoyable few days both on and off the court.Off the court, it was just as busy, as I was finishing the last two articles for the January issue of World Pickleball Magazine. In addition, although I have not made a big announcement yet, I have recently become an international advocate for Selkirk, and it was great to receive several new paddles to try out on Friday.

It was definitely tiring, but also very rewarding. We are now looking forward to tomorrow’s session with Coach Hitomi. With only three sessions left until the end of the year, and Christmas coming up on the 25th, the final stretch of the year is approaching quickly. I am especially looking forward to the Budokan session, where there will be a small surprise for those who attend.
