人生において学びが終わることはありません。毎日、意識しているかどうかに関わらず、新しい気づきや発見があります。学ぶことは日常生活において自信や力につながり、スポーツや趣味においては楽しさや充実感を与えてくれます。常に新鮮さを保ち、成長を続ける原動力になります。

だからこそ、他のコーチの視点に触れることはとても大切です。どれだけ経験を重ねても、異なる見方やアプローチから学べることは必ずあります。

昨日は西村コーチとのセッションでした。プレーを見るだけでも多くの学びがあります。テーマは至近距離でのボレー。特に初心者の方はキッチンライン付近でのプレーに不安を感じやすく、前に出ること自体をためらうこともあります。そこで、近い距離で落ち着いて対応すること、速い展開の中でも安定してプレーすることにフォーカスしました。

最後はゲーム形式で実践。派手さはなくても、着実に力を伸ばすことにつながる、充実したセッションとなりました。

Learning never really stops. Every day brings something new—whether it’s a small adjustment, a different perspective, or a deeper understanding. Learning builds confidence in everyday life, and in sports and hobbies it keeps the experience fresh and enjoyable. It is what allows steady, long-term improvement.

That is why exposure to different coaching perspectives is so valuable. No matter how much experience someone has, there is always something to learn from another way of seeing the game.

Yesterday’s session with Coach Nishimura focused on close-range volleys. This is an area where many beginners feel uncomfortable, especially when stepping up to the kitchen line. The emphasis was on becoming more at ease in that space—staying calm in faster exchanges and building confidence at the net.

The session concluded with game play to apply what had been practiced. Nothing flashy—just solid, focused work and another step forward through learning.
