先日のDUPR公式戦、ご参加ありがとうございました！初めて登録した方も多いので、ポイントをまとめます。

【DUPRとは？】

試合結果から自動計算される、2.0〜8.0のレーティングです。勝敗だけでなく、点差や相手・パートナーのレーティングも反映されます。強い相手に勝つほど上がり、強い相手への惜敗ならほとんど下がりません。試合を重ねるほど数値は安定し、信頼度（Reliability）が高いほど正確になります。なお、ダブルスとシングルスは別々に計算されます。

【DUPRと定性評価の違い】

定性評価は「3.0＝ラリーが続く」のように、プレーの特徴から自分で選ぶ、または認定される目安です。主観が入るため、同じ3.5でも実力に差が出ることがあります。

DUPRは実際の試合結果に基づく数値（例：3.742）で、試合のたびに自動更新されます。

What is DUPR?

It's a rating from 2.0 to 8.0, calculated automatically from your match results. It looks at more than win or loss: the score margin and the ratings of your opponents and partner count too. Beating a stronger team lifts your rating, and a close loss to one barely affects it. Your number settles down as you play more matches, and a higher reliability score means a more accurate rating. Doubles and singles are rated separately.

DUPR vs. a qualitative rating

A qualitative rating is a skill level you pick or are assigned from descriptions, like "3.0: can keep a rally going." It's subjective, so two people at "3.5" can play very differently. DUPR is data-driven. It comes from real match results (e.g., 3.742) and updates after every game. Use the descriptions to find your level, and let DUPR track your progress!
