皆さま、今週もありがとうございました 〜そして来年はベトナム？〜Thank you for another great week of pickleball — and maybe Vietnam next year?

この一週間で

なんと5回も一緒にプレーすることができました。オーシャン・ピックルボールを継続的に支えてくださっている皆さまに、心から感謝申し上げます。鎌倉や周辺地域の方々に少しでも多くプレーの機会を提供できるよう、これからも努力してまいります。

気温も下がってきて、ますます快適に活動できる季節になりました。今朝は由比ヶ浜でゴミ拾いを行い、最高のコンディションでした。とても充実した時間で、終了後の会話も楽しく、大変有意義なひとときとなりました。ご参加いただいた皆さま、本当にありがとうございました。

明日は武道館でのセッションも予定していますので、ぜひまたお会いできるのを楽しみにしています。

昨日と今日は、オーシャン・ピックルボールのTシャツを披露する良い機会にもなりました。洗濯や管理に協力してくださった方々に感謝いたします。レディース用Tシャツはすでに予約でいっぱいになっていますが、メンズ用はまだ少し残っていますので、ご希望の方はぜひお知らせください。

また、最近ベトナムのピックルボール事情を調べているのですが、驚くことにアジアでも最先端の国の一つで、人口の80％以上がピックルボールを知っており、設備も非常に整っています。来年には現地を訪れて、ローカルの方々と一緒にプレーしたり、観光や美味しい料理を楽しんだりできればと思っています。もしご興味のある方がいらっしゃれば、今後数週間から数か月の間に一緒に計画を立てていけたら嬉しいです。

改めて、皆さまのおかげでこのクラブが活気にあふれた素晴らしいコミュニティになっていることに感謝いたします。これからもコートでお会いしましょう！

Over the past week we played together five times — an incredible milestone for our club. I want to thank everyone for continuously supporting Ocean Pickleball and for helping us create so many opportunities for people in Kamakura and the surrounding areas to play. Your ongoing support means a lot.

The cooler temperatures have also made things more enjoyable. This morning at Yuigahama we had a perfect day for our beach cleanup. It was not only rewarding but also filled with fun and great conversations afterwards. A big thank you to everyone who joined.

We also have another session tomorrow at Budokan, and I look forward to seeing many of you there.

Yesterday and today were also perfect opportunities to showcase our Ocean Pickleball T-shirt. Thank you to those who volunteered to monitor the washing and organization. The ladies’ T-shirts are already fully booked, and we still have a few left for the men — please let me know if you are interested.

On a side note, I have been researching pickleball in Vietnam recently. You may be surprised to know that it is one of the most advanced countries in Asia when it comes to pickleball: more than 80% of the population is familiar with the sport, and they have state-of-the-art facilities. I would love to travel there sometime next year, not only to play with local players but also to enjoy the culture, sights, and amazing food. If this idea interests you, we can start discussing plans in the coming weeks and months.
