扉はいつもオープンに — Keep the Door Open

Ocean Pickleballを始めてから嬉しいことの一つは、ピックルボールを通じてたくさんの友情が生まれていることです。数か月前には誰も知らずに参加した人たちが、今では一緒にプレーする仲間になっています。

そして、Oceanがこれからも大切にしたいのは、その輪がいつもオープンであること。今いるメンバーの多くも、最初は一人の「新しい人」でした。だからこそ、新しく来た人も自然にその輪に入っていける場所であり続けたいと思っています。

プレーについては、できるだけレベルの近い人同士で楽しめるようにしています。それでも、経験やレベルには多少の違いがあります。それも含めてOceanのコミュニティです。誰もが初心者だった時期があり、誰かと一緒にプレーすることで上達してきました。

友達が増えても、輪は閉じない。それがOcean Pickleballです。

One of the best things about Ocean Pickleball has been seeing so many friendships develop through the game. People who arrived only a few months ago knowing nobody are now friends and regular playing partners.

What we want to preserve as Ocean grows is that sense of openness. Most of us were once the “new person” walking in for the first time. The community exists because there was room for us when we arrived, and we want there to be room for the next person too.

We try to organize play among people of similar levels, but inevitably there will sometimes be differences in experience and ability. That, too, is part of the community. Everyone was a beginner once, and all of us improved because other people played with us.

Friendships grow, but the circle stays open. That’s Ocean Pickleball.
