【ピックルボールのその先に】More Than Just Pickleball

昨日も多くの皆さまにご参加いただき、ありがとうございました。

暑い体育館での練習となりましたが、常連メンバーに加え、海外からのゲスト、そして9月に親善イベントを検討している他クラブからのゲストにもお越しいただきました。

オーシャン・ピックルボールは、単にピックルボールをプレーする場ではありません。経験者が初心者をサポートし、新しい仲間やゲストを歓迎しながら、みんなで作り上げているコミュニティです。

コートの中でのプレーはもちろん大切ですが、それと同じくらい大切なのが、お互いを尊重し、助け合い、誰もが楽しく参加できる雰囲気です。初心者にルールやコツを教えること、新しいメンバーを紹介すること。そうした一つひとつの積み重ねが、今のオーシャン・ピックルボールを支えています。

私たちは、何試合できたかだけでなく、誰と会場を共有し、どのような時間を過ごせたかを大切にしています。ピックルボールを通じて新しい仲間と出会い、お互いに学び合い、そして「楽しかった」と思って帰っていただけることが何よりの喜びです。

日頃からこのコミュニティを支えてくださっている皆さまに、改めて感謝申し上げます。

これからも、ピックルボールを通じて楽しい時間と新しい出会いを共有できる場を、皆さんと一緒に育てていければと思います。

Thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday.

Despite the heat inside the gym, we had another enjoyable session with our regular members, as well as a guest visiting from overseas and a guest from another club with whom we are exploring the possibility of a friendly event in September.

Ocean Pickleball is more than just a place to play pickleball. It is a community built together by its members—where experienced players support beginners, where new members and visitors are warmly welcomed, and where people of different backgrounds can enjoy the sport together.

Playing on the court is, of course, important. Equally important, however, is the atmosphere we create together: treating one another with respect, helping each other, and making sure everyone feels welcome. Teaching a beginner the rules, introducing a new member, or simply helping someone feel included—these small actions are what make Ocean Pickleball what it is today.

We value not only how many games we play, but also who we share the venue with and how we spend our time together. Through pickleball, we meet new friends, learn from one another, and create experiences that stay with us long after the final game. Nothing makes us happier than seeing people leave with a smile and thinking, “That was fun.”

We would like to express our sincere appreciation to everyone who continues to support and contribute to this community.

We look forward to growing Ocean Pickleball together and sharing many more enjoyable moments and new friendships in the future.
