【10月追加練習会＆鎌倉Ocean Cupのお知らせ】Additional October Practice and Kamakura Ocean Cup

皆さん、こんにちは。2点お知らせです。まず、10月7日（水）17:00〜19:00、横浜市金沢スポーツセンターにて、3面を使用した練習会を追加しました。すでにTeamHubに掲載していますので、ご都合の合う方はぜひご参加ください！

続いて、今年最後の大会となる「鎌倉Ocean Cup」を、11月29日（日）17:00〜21:00、鎌倉武道館にて開催します。定員32名、参加費2,000円のDUPR対象大会です。初級以上の方を対象とし、初心者の方は今回は参加をご遠慮ください。

大会形式はラウンドロビンの後、準決勝・決勝を行う予定です。今後開催予定のEl Niño Cup、Autumn Cupと同様に、公平性を保ちながら、参加者のDUPRに不必要なマイナスの影響が出ないような方式を採用する予定です。

参加費にはOcean Pickleball Clubオリジナルのハンカチタオルが含まれます。すでにTeamHubに掲載していますので、ぜひお申し込みください。なお、大会準備およびオリジナルグッズの製作の都合上、開催日の2週間前以降のキャンセルについては、参加費2,000円全額をキャンセル料として申し受けます。

Hello everyone. Just two announcements. First, we have added a new session on Wednesday, October 7, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Kanazawa Sports Center in Yokohama, with three courts. The session is already on TeamHub, so if you can make it, we look forward to seeing you there.

We are also pleased to announce the Kamakura Ocean Cup, our final tournament of the year, which will take place on Sunday, November 29, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Kamakura Budokan. The event is limited to 32 players, the participation fee is ¥2,000, and it will be DUPR-rated. The tournament is open to players from elementary level and above; complete beginners are kindly asked not to apply.

The format will be a round-robin stage followed by semifinals and a final. As with the upcoming El Niño Cup and Autumn Cup, we plan to adopt a format designed to maintain fairness while avoiding unnecessary negative impact on participants’ DUPR ratings.

The ¥2,000 participation fee includes an original Ocean Pickleball Club handkerchief towel. The event is already on TeamHub, so please feel free to sign up. Due to the advance preparation required for the tournament and the production of the original goods, cancellations made within two weeks of the event will be subject to the full ¥2,000 cancellation fee.
