「一枚の写真の裏側で」Behind the shot

練習後にシェアしている写真。実は、あれの9割以上は静止画ではなく、ビデオから切り出したものなんです。

練習中に短い動画をいくつか撮っておいて、あとから一つひとつじっくり見返します。一人ひとりのプレーをチェックしながら、「あっ、今のいいな」という瞬間を探していきます。

フォームが決まっていたり、集中していたり、動きに流れがあったり。あるいはふと笑った瞬間だったり。上手い・下手はまったく関係ありません。どんな人にも、その人らしい “いい一瞬” があるものです。

その一瞬を見つけたら、そこから写真に仕上げていきます。トリミングしたり、明るさや背景を調整したり。ときにはアニメ風に加工することもありますが、それも一回でうまくいくわけではなくて、AIとやりとりしながら、何度も試して「これだ」という形にしていきます。

全部あわせると、だいたい2時間くらいかかることが多いのですが、それでもやりたくなるんです。なぜかというと、「この人、すごくいい表情してるな」って思える瞬間に出会えるから。

私たちは、特定の誰かを目立たせたいわけではありません。みんなの中にある“いい瞬間”を見つけて、それぞれが輝く形で残したいと思っています。なぜなら、どんなプレイヤーも、コートに「その人なりの良さ」を持ち込んでくれているからです。

写真は、ただの記録じゃありません。そのときの空気、努力、そして「みんなでやってる感じ」が映るものだと思っています。

「よく見せる」のではなく、「すでにそこにある良さを、ちゃんと見つけて、見える形にする」。それが私たちのやっていることです。

もし自分の写真を見て、「こんなふうに見えてたんだ」「意外とカッコよく撮れてるかも」と思ったら、それは偶然ではありません。

その一瞬をちゃんと見つけて、チームのみんなと共有したいと思った人がいたということです。

これからも、プレーも写真も、コートの中でも外でも、一緒に楽しんでいきましょう。

The photos we share after practice — most of them are not actually still shots.In fact, over 90% come from video.

We usually film a few short clips during the session, quietly from the sidelines.Then, afterward, we go back and watch each one, slowly, carefully.We focus on one player at a time, looking for that moment —when the form is sharp, the focus is real, the movement just flows,or maybe there’s a genuine smile mid-point.

Whether you’ve just started or you’ve been playing for years,everyone has those moments.They usually last less than a second — and most of the time, you don’t even notice them yourself.But if you pause the frame at just the right time, there it is:a glimpse of confidence, joy, or rhythm that just feels right.

Once we find that frame, we start shaping the image.We crop it, adjust the lighting, maybe calm down the background a little.And sometimes, just for fun, we use AI to create anime-style versions or other effects.But even that takes trial and error —it is not just one click or one prompt.It’s a conversation between human and machine,tweaking things until they finally feel like they match the spirit of the moment.

On average, the whole process takes a couple of hours.But it never feels like work.Because when we find that one shot — that one second where someone looks just right —it’s a quiet kind of joy.

We do not believe in showcasing just one person.We believe in finding the best moments in everyone —because every player brings something to the court.

To us, a photo is not just a record of what happened.It captures the atmosphere, the effort, the feeling of being in it together.We do not try to make people “look good.”We try to find the good that is already there —and show it, frame by frame.

Next time you see a photo of yourself and think,“That does not even look like me,” or “Wow, that turned out kind of cool,”just know:someone saw something in that moment — and wanted to share it with the team.
